1. Is Sopoong Halal?
Currently Sopoong Central Kitchen is officially Halal by JAKIM from 2021 until now. For Sopoong outlet, we are proud to claim that Sopoong IOI City Mall, is now officially Halal certified by JAKIM.

This is a major milestone for us, and we’re also in the process of getting all our outlets certified to serve you better and with greater peace of mind.
2. Is Sopoong own by Koreans?
Our Founder of Sopoong- Mr Yang Hye Kwang and Madam Julie are from South Korea. They opened Sopoong Korean restaurant in 2011 to enhance the real authentic Korea flavour to Malaysia. The technique and recipes is generational recipe inheritance to the latest generations.
3. What makes Sopoong specials?
Sopoong is served by a Korean own family with an heirloom recipe's with a twist that can fit local tastebud, safe for all community background and still have the authenticity of Korean dish. With their varieties of menu, anyone can enjoy Korean dish even a little kids too!

Together with that, every Sopoong outlet has their own environment interior and outer designs. Nevertheless, they still stick to their to their true meaning of Sopoong- "Picnic" as their parental concept.
